Dave Bokel is a singer-songwriter from Salida, Colorado. He has been writing and performing music for over 2 decades, and Maverick is his first original release as a solo artist. Dave is a multi-instrumentalist and has played numerous roles in bands over the years, playing bass, drums, guitar, mandolin and banjo, among others.
He is proud to offer Maverick as the first installment of a lot of great original music to come. Dave has spent years playing in taverns and doing patio and cafe gigs, performing everything from blues to bluegrass to rock.
Dave is constantly writing and creating, using music as a personal journal. His influences include: the Beatles, Willie Nelson, the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, H. D. Thoreau, C. G. Jung, Joseph Campbell, Allison Krauss, Gillian Welch, John Prine … Enjoy!
